Gabriel Mkrttchian is a cinematographer who acts upon his feel for framing and appearance and strengthens stories in an innovative way.

Gabriel was born in Armenia and has grown up in Mora in northern Sweden.
Cinematographers who have inspired him most are Christopher Doyle, Sven Nykvist, Emmanuel Lubezki and Hoyte van Hoytema.

Gabriel works with both film and digital cameras, and is the course leader on our Arri Alexa workshops. He is an educated cinematographer from the Stockholm School of Dramatic Arts.
There are no challenges that will scare him off and he has worked with everything from feature documentary to short films and commercials.
